Scope of this policy

This policy explains data processing when you visit startlearnai.com, purchase the course, create an account, complete activities or contact support. The controller is identified at the end and can be found directly through the contents.

It applies to the StartLearn AI website and campus. If you independently use an AI tool, hosting service or other external platform, that provider processes information you give it under its own conditions. The campus does not automatically send your answers to AI tools.

Purchase and payment data

To process a purchase, we collect an email address and retain the reference, amount, currency, status, dates, payment-provider identifiers, linked student account where one exists and accepted versions of the conditions and privacy policy. Where available, a visit session is associated with a purchase to measure conversion.

PayPal handles payment information on its own platform. StartLearn AI does not store your full card number or security code. Transaction data verify payment, deliver access, resolve issues and support sale-related obligations.

Registration and profile data

Registration requests first name, surname, email, country of residence, age and employment situation. Depending on the situation selected, occupation or business sector is also requested. These are stored to manage your student profile, provide assistance and understand the course audience through aggregated statistics.

The form distinguishes required and optional fields. Fields required by the current form must be completed to finish registration. Contact support@startlearnai.com if you need an alternative or an explanation of a request; do not provide invented information.

Student registration does not request identity documents or full card details. Avoid sensitive information, other people’s data or unnecessary details in free-text fields.

Answers, progress and support requests

The campus stores answers, activity status, progress, completion records, activity time estimates and reviews. These allow work recovery, course continuity and identification of improvements to the training.

Answers and reviews are not published as a forum or automatically turned into testimonials. Administration may consult them to manage the training and student assistance. Specific permission will be requested if a project or testimonial is to be made public.

When you contact us by email, the information you send and the conversation needed to handle the matter are retained. Share only relevant information and do not send passwords or sensitive documents that have not been justifiably requested.

Technical data and purposes

Technical information maintains sessions, manages language preferences, verifies access, prevents abusive attempts and protects the platform. Security processes may use an IP address and technical request information; an IP address is not included in the visit records described below.

Purposes are delivering and administering the purchase, maintaining the account, recovering access, saving learning work, providing support, protecting the service and producing statistics about visits and course use. Purchase and complaint records also support legal obligations and transaction-related disputes.

Student profiles are not sold and answers are not used to automatically train an AI model. An incompatible new purpose will require the information and authorization that apply before it is implemented.

Information, consent and choices

This policy is provided before purchase and registration, and the corresponding acceptance is recorded. Data are used for the purposes communicated and applicable obligations; a website visit does not authorize advertising or publication of a project.

You may request information, correct data or withdraw consent through the contact provided. Withdrawal has prospective effect and does not make previously valid processing unlawful. The effects of a request will be explained where processing is needed to maintain the account or a legal retention duty exists.

You are not automatically subscribed to commercial campaigns. Any advertising or testimonial permission will be specific and separate from purchasing the course.

Information access and recipients

Administrative access is restricted to people authorized to manage the platform, purchases, support and training. Providers involved receive information needed for their function; a student’s full profile is not published on the website.

Necessary data may be disclosed to handle payment or a claim, meet a legal obligation or respond to a valid request from a competent authority. Information is not provided to other students or third parties to market their own services.

Administrative statistics about countries, ages and employment situations are presented in grouped form. Individual purchase and account information remains accessible to authorized administration for service management.

Providers and information outside your country

Render hosts the website and course database in the United States. PayPal processes payment and verification. Zoho manages the information and support mailboxes and sends operational messages. These services provide hosting, payment and communication needed for the course.

Providers may process information outside your country under their services and applicable conditions and safeguards. A provider’s involvement does not mean selling your profile or authorizing use unrelated to its stated function.

You may ask the controller how these services participate and what information is used. Purchasing the course does not require sending your work to an external AI provider.

Cookies, storage and preferences

Functional cookies are used for sessions and language preferences. Your browser may retain a private purchase reference and activity drafts so you can continue your work. These mechanisms help maintain access and avoid losing unfinished text.

You may manage cookies and storage through your browser. Blocking or deleting them may affect session, language or draft-recovery features. Removing browser storage does not cancel a purchase or delete account data stored on the server.

No third-party advertising tracking services are included in this purchase flow. If tools for other purposes are added, their characteristics will be explained and applicable choices requested.

Visit measurement and aggregate use

Website visits, Buy clicks and checkout views are recorded using a random browser-session identifier lasting up to 24 hours. Events include time, language and button placement to compare periods and understand the journey towards purchase.

Visit records do not collect names, emails, complete browsing history or IP addresses. A session identifier does not infallibly identify a person: changing device or browser may create another session.

Where a session can be associated with a purchase, conversion and the transaction’s confirmed status are measured. Student and sales statistics allow grouped study of countries, ages, employment situations and progress; they do not publicly disclose individual profiles.

Operational emails and delivery status

Confirmation, welcome, access recovery and password-change messages are sent from info@startlearnai.com under the StartLearn AI name. Replies go to support@startlearnai.com. This mailbox also handles questions.

Delivery status and necessary attempts are retained to investigate issues. Acceptance by the email service does not guarantee reading or delivery to the recipient’s primary inbox.

Access and recovery messages contain private links. They do not contain your password. Delivery-queue recipients are anonymized during maintenance after 90 days; content is removed from the queue after acceptance or expiry. This does not itself delete purchase records or support conversations.

Retention and deletion

Profile and progress are retained to provide purchased access and learning continuity. Purchase, complaint and tax-obligation records are retained for the periods corresponding to their purposes and applicable rules.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized unless a legal obligation or ground permits retention. Deletion requests are reviewed to separate data that may be removed from records that must be kept; the scope of the action will be communicated.

Backups support service recovery and have restricted access. Deletion in the primary system and renewal of backups are managed with retention obligations in mind, without reusing deleted data for a new purpose.

Account protection and security

The website uses HTTPS, restricted administration and passwords stored as salted hashes rather than readable passwords. Access and recovery links are private and have validity controls. These measures seek to prevent improper access and reduce risks.

No system guarantees absolute security. Contact support if you suspect an issue and use recovery mechanisms where appropriate. Do not share credentials or enter confidential information into guided exercises.

Handling a rights request may require verifying identity with proportionate account-related information. Do not send documents or credentials unsolicited; any necessary check and its reason will be explained.

Your rights and privacy requests

Write to support@startlearnai.com to request information, access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent and exercise any other rights applicable to you. Provide your account email and request. No payment is needed to submit it.

The connection between the request and your account will be verified without requiring unnecessary information. For cases governed by Costa Rican law, access, correction or deletion requests will be handled within the five business days established by Law 8968. Other applicable mandatory deadlines and rights will be respected.

You will be informed if a legal retention duty limits deletion of particular records. You may contact the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB) in Costa Rica or another competent authority under the applicable rules. Contacting support first does not prevent a complaint to an authority.

Minors and other people’s data

Where a minor participates, the authorizations and safeguards required by applicable rules must be respected. A representative who believes data have been provided without necessary permission may request a review by the controller.

Guided exercises should use fictional data or information you have the right to use. Do not add personal information about clients, employees or others to the campus when unnecessary for the activity and without a legitimate basis to use it.

Updates and controller contact

The policy may be updated if processing, providers or applicable obligations change. The published date and version identify the available text. Where a change requires new authorization, visiting the website alone will not be treated as granting it.

A new version does not authorize incompatible uses of information collected earlier. Questions about this policy and rights requests may be addressed to the controller identified below.
